Summary

In 2011, Foo Fighters embarked on the Garage Tour in support of their album Wasting Light.

The band played concerts in the garages of eight lucky fans across North America, who had entered a competition.

One of the winners was Canadian superfan Nick Perry, who welcomed the Foo Fighters to his farm in Milton, Ontario - around 40km from Toronto.

Nick talks to Foos Files about the surreal experience - from thinking it was a prank by his friends to performing several songs with the band.

Topics Discussed

  • Nick's winning entry
  • Reaction to finding out he'd won
  • How Dave Grohl recognised him from past encounters
  • Getting to front his favourite band
